Teresa Carlson

Teresa J. Carlson, OTR/L, ABDA , as been an employee with Hennis since May 2000. She is the Director of Therapy for Hennis Care Centre Bolivar.  She graduated from Cleveland State University in 1992 and has over 10 years experience in geriatric care. Her background is in home health and geriatric rehabilitation.  Teresa has been able to develop her interest in specializing in geriatric cognition by serving on the international board of the Allen Cognitive Advisors, working closely with Cognitive Specialist, Claudia K Allen, MA. OTR, FAOTA.  Teresa continue to develop her interest in serving Hennis Care Centre residents and family members by providing them with a thorough Occupational Therapy Evaluation using the latest tools and modalities such as Anodyne Therapy.   She also enjoys working with resident and their family by providing a Home Safety Evaluation to ensure that Hennis Care Centre patients go home and stay home,… safely.
