Melanie Scheetz joined Hennis Care Centre
of Dover in April of 2006 and accepted the position of Activities and Social
Services Director in July 2007. Melanie started her career as a nursing
assistant in 1979. In 1980 she became a licensed Social Worker through the
OBRA program. Prior to joining Hennis, Melanie was worked with admission and
discharge planning. Some of her duties include resident assessments,
community service referrals, monitoring the psychosocial well being of the
residents and managing ancillary service providers. She also coordinates
activities for our residents, which includes special programming and
dementia care. |
